We know it sounds corny, but this mix really is the best of both worlds.

Ideal for both a sweet and savoury fix, cornbread is perfect for all occasions and is a real crowd-winner no matter what you choose to whip up. Add maple syrup, muscovado sugar or cinnamon. Alternatively, opt for jalapenos, sweetcorn and tomatoes. The possibilities are endless.

Vegan Recipe

• 50ml Vegetable Oil
• 200ml Plant Milk
• 80g Apple Sauce

Method

• Grease a 1lb loaf tin or 20cm cake tin with Butter/Oil and leave a teaspoon more in the bottom of the tin for good measure! Turn the oven to 200c and pop the tin in to get good and toasty.
• Pour this packet into your favourite mixing bowl and give it a quick whisk to remove any annoying lumps.
• Make a little well in the middle, then carefully add the rest of the ingredients. Give it all a good stir, but don’t over mix, or it will be a tad dense!
• Using oven gloves, take the tin out of the oven and lovingly spoon the mixture in.
• Pop the tin back in the oven and let it cook for around 25 minutes until golden on top.
• Using your oven gloves again, remove the piping hot tin and leave to cool slightly.

Yellow Cornmeal, Flour Blend (Brown Rice, White Rice, Maize Starch, Tapioca Starch, Maize), Raw Cane Sugar, Baking Powder (Monocalcium Phosphate, Corn Starch, Raising Agent: Sodium Bicarbonates), Crystal Salt.

Next Working Day Delivery (UK)

Any order placed before 4.30pm Monday - Friday (3:30pm for edible images*), with the Next Working Day Delivery option selected, will be dispatched the same business day (Monday - Friday). Orders placed after the cutoff time using this method will be dispatched on the next working day.

A signature is required for this method, so you will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. Please allow an additional 24 hours for any order to be delivered to the Scottish Highlands. Please also be aware that any deliveries to Northern Ireland with a 'BT' postcode will usually take three days to arrive (on 2 Day Northern Ireland Delivery).

Pre-Orders

Any order containing a product that is listed as a preorder, will be held until the preordered item has arrived in stock. Orders containing a preorder cannot be split, if other items are needed before the expected delivery date, these items should be ordered separately.

Weekend Deliveries (UK)

Any order placed before 4.30pm* on Friday, with the "Saturday Delivery" or "Sunday Delivery" option selected, will be dispatched on the same day for delivery between the hours of 8am - 6pm on the selected day.

A signature is required for these methods, so somebody will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. If the order is placed after the 4pm cut-off on a Friday, the order will be dispatched for delivery on the following weekend. Please note we are unable to guarantee any order being dispatched to the Scottish Highlands or Islands to arrive within the quoted time frame.  

*Orders for edible images have a cut-off time of 3:30pm – orders placed after this time will be dispatched for delivery the following week day.
