The Cake Decorating Co. Food Grade Cake Stackers - Sugar Botanicals

No need for dowels or internal structures, with these Easy Use Cake Stackers, you can stack your cake with minimal time and effort.

These incredibly durable, food-grade acetate strips, can be curved around and interlocked to form a high strength support for your tiered cakes.

What’s great about Cake Stackers is that they are easy to measure and cut unlike poly-dowels, meaning less time is spent getting your support structure the correct height. The Cake Stackers come marked with lines in food grade ink, allowing you to easily decide what depth you need to trim it to. It also means you don’t have to worry about cutting more than one dowel at exactly the same height.

The Cake Stackers can be used for multiple tiers and will easily hold up to an 80kg cake.

The Cake Stackers come with full instructions and are very easy to use.

The Tier stackers can be reused after presenting your cake but are also such great value that you can throw them away after using if you wish.

Instructions for use:

How to trim the Cake Stacker to your desired depth:
1. Measure the cake depth and mark on the stirrer provided
2. Place the stirrer against the Cake Stacker and cut on the appropriate line.

To assemble the Cake Stacker after trimming:
1. The Cake Stacker consists of a double cylinder. Create the first one by interlocking the top (A) with the bottom side slits (B).
2. Wrap the rest of the Cake Stacker around the first cylinder and insert the tabs (C), into the corresponding holes (D), and close tightly.

Inserting the Cake Stacker into your cake:
1. From above, push the assembled stacker down into the centre of an iced cake.
2. The top of the Cake Stacker cylinder should sit just above the top layer of sugarpaste icing, the same as if you were using dowels.
3. Place the cake board of your next tier on top and repeat the process until your cake is fully stacked.

Storing Your Cake Stacker

If you are wanting to reuse your Cake Stacker at a later date, it is recommended to store it in the box and avoid folding or creasing the stacker as this may compromise its structural integrity.

Measures in length: Approx measures 32.5 inches when laid out flat. Depth approximately 10cm (4").

The box will come with up to 3 Cake stackers in 1 box depending on how many stackers are ordered. e.g. 1-3 stackers = 1 box, 4-6 stackers = 2 boxes etc.

Next Working Day Delivery (UK)

Any order placed before 4.30pm Monday - Friday (3:30pm for edible images*), with the Next Working Day Delivery option selected, will be dispatched the same business day (Monday - Friday). Orders placed after the cutoff time using this method will be dispatched on the next working day.

A signature is required for this method, so you will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. Please allow an additional 24 hours for any order to be delivered to the Scottish Highlands. Please also be aware that any deliveries to Northern Ireland with a 'BT' postcode will usually take three days to arrive (on 2 Day Northern Ireland Delivery).

Pre-Orders

Any order containing a product that is listed as a preorder, will be held until the preordered item has arrived in stock. Orders containing a preorder cannot be split, if other items are needed before the expected delivery date, these items should be ordered separately.

Weekend Deliveries (UK)

Any order placed before 4.30pm* on Friday, with the "Saturday Delivery" or "Sunday Delivery" option selected, will be dispatched on the same day for delivery between the hours of 8am - 6pm on the selected day.

A signature is required for these methods, so somebody will need to be at the delivery address to sign for it. If the order is placed after the 4pm cut-off on a Friday, the order will be dispatched for delivery on the following weekend. Please note we are unable to guarantee any order being dispatched to the Scottish Highlands or Islands to arrive within the quoted time frame.  

*Orders for edible images have a cut-off time of 3:30pm – orders placed after this time will be dispatched for delivery the following week day.
